A trees-only crew in Wesley Chapel

Most companies that will take down your tree also do lawn mowing, pressure washing and whatever else came through the phone that week. There is nothing wrong with that, but it means tree work is the thing they fit around other jobs. For us, trees are the only work. That specialization is the whole reason we can tell you within a few minutes of looking at your tree whether it needs to come down, needs cabling, or just needs another season of deadwooding.

We work across Pasco and Hillsborough Counties — mature live oaks on the older Wesley Chapel lots that need careful rigging around fences and pools, sabal and queen palms in newer communities like Epperson and Watergrass that get over-trimmed by crews that don't know better, and storm-snapped canopy after every named system that has rolled through Tampa Bay in recent years. Different species, different failure modes, different answers.

How we price, and why we publish it

We put our actual price ranges on the website, which almost nobody in this trade does. The reason is simple: homeowners have no way to judge whether a tree removal quote is reasonable, and that information gap is where people get overcharged. If you know a small tree should be $300 to $800 and someone quotes you $2,000, you have learned something useful.

Every estimate is free and on site. We measure the tree, check for lean, decay and root plate condition, confirm whether HOA architectural review or a county rule applies, then hand you a written flat price. That number does not change once work starts unless you change the scope. There is no deposit required to get a quote and no obligation to book.

What we will tell you that costs us money

If your oak just needs deadwooding and another season, we will say so rather than sell you a removal. If your palms are getting trimmed too often, we will tell you to call us back in eight months instead of scheduling you today. If a tree can be saved with structural support instead of coming down, we will quote trimming or cabling first and tell you plainly that removing a tree that can be saved is rarely worth it. We would rather have the referral than the extra job.

Licensed and insured Florida tree service with liability coverage on every job. We will send our license number and a certificate of insurance before work begins, and HOAs and property managers can request documentation for their files.

HOA rules and new-construction lots, handled properly

Wesley Chapel's master-planned communities — Meadow Pointe, Seven Oaks, Epperson, Watergrass and the rest — generally have an architectural review committee with its own notice requirements before a tree comes down, on top of whatever county rules apply. We check that on every estimate that involves a large or street-visible tree, and we help you assemble what's needed for sign-off rather than leaving you to figure out the HOA portal alone. On new-construction lots we also coordinate directly with builders and site contractors on clearing timelines.

Equipment and crew we actually use

Certified climbing arborists for canopy work, rigging equipment rated for the loads involved in taking large limbs down over roofs and pools, a crane on call for trees where climbing isn't the safer option, and a stump grinder that goes eight to twelve inches below grade rather than a shallow skim. Our tree risk picker on the homepage walks through what each common species and situation typically needs.

The warranty, in plain terms

Two years on cabling and bracing installations. If a cable or brace fails under normal load within that window, we come fix it at no charge. What it does not cover is new damage — a direct hurricane hit, a lightning strike, storm debris impact. That is not a workmanship failure, and we will repair or remove at our normal rate rather than pretend otherwise.

Questions

About our company

Add your real founding year and years of experience here before launch — specific numbers build far more trust than a vague claim about being established, and this is one of the most common questions on estimates.

Yes, licensed in Florida and carrying liability insurance on every job. We provide the license number and a certificate of insurance before work begins, without being asked. HOAs, community associations and property managers routinely need this for their files and we send it as a matter of course.

No. The people who quote your job are the people who climb the tree. That matters more than it sounds: a subcontracted crew has no stake in whether the drop zone was planned correctly, and no reason to flag an HOA issue that would slow the job down. Our warranty only works because the same crew owns the result.

Because the details are where tree jobs go wrong, and you only learn those details by doing nothing else. Reading a lean correctly, knowing which species tolerate heavy pruning and which don't, recognizing internal decay from the outside — none of that is obvious, and all of it decides whether a job goes smoothly or becomes a liability claim.

Call us and we come back. Workmanship issues within the two-year cabling warranty are fixed at no charge. New damage from storms, lightning or impact is repaired at our normal rate. Either way you get a real person on the phone rather than a warranty claims process.

Not for estimates, ever. For scheduled work we generally collect on completion after you have walked the property with us and confirmed you are satisfied. Very large land-clearing or multi-day commercial jobs are the exception, and any deposit terms are stated in writing on the quote before you agree to anything.

Yes, and we do it regularly. If a tree just needs deadwooding, cabling, or another season before a decision, saying so costs us a job today and usually earns the trim job now plus a referral later. The homeowners who become repeat customers are almost always the ones we talked out of an unnecessary removal on the first visit.

We do not file claims for you, but we document damage thoroughly before touching anything — wide shots, close-ups, species and size — and provide an itemized written estimate in the format adjusters expect. After named storms that documentation is often the difference between a smooth claim and a fight.

Yes. The homepage gallery shows recent jobs tagged by neighborhood and service type. We are also happy to give you addresses of completed properties in your area so you can drive by and look, which is honestly more convincing than any photo we could show you.

Yes, and it is one of our most requested pieces of help. We check whether your community's architectural review process applies, document the tree's condition, and help you prepare what the HOA typically wants to see before a removal on a visible or common-area-adjacent tree.

Fourteen communities across Pasco and Hillsborough Counties: Wesley Chapel, Meadow Pointe, Seven Oaks, Epperson, Watergrass, New Tampa, Tampa Palms, Lutz, Odessa, Land O' Lakes, Trinity, San Antonio, Dade City and Zephyrhills. No trip charge on any of them.

Yes. New-construction lot clearing for builders, community common-area trees, and commercial site work are a meaningful share of what we do. We provide a certificate of insurance and W-9 up front, can invoice the association or builder directly, and are happy to walk a property with a board member, manager or site super before quoting.
